When HP launched the Compaq Presario CQ40 in 2008, we weren't really all that impressed. Targeting the entry-level crowd, a machine which sports basic entertainment features but costs S$1,299 (US$925.74) tends to get trumped by competitors such as Acer and Dell. The laptop was also considered rather thick for a thin-and-light, though this was somewhat redeemed by a clean aesthetic appeal.
